どんなときにキャンセル料がかかりますか？

ご予約を減らす変更をすると、減らした分にキャンセル料がかかります。

どの項目が対象ですか？

ご予約に含まれるすべての項目です。

• 宿泊料金（プランの料金・繁忙期の追加料金）
• 個室の料金
• お弁当
• そのほかのオプション（レンタル品など）

なお宿泊税はキャンセル料の対象外です。減らした分は全額お返しします。

キャンセル料はいくらになりますか？

減らした金額 × キャンセル料率 です。
キャンセル料率は、山小屋ごとのキャンセルポリシー（予約ページに掲載しています）のとおりで、変更を保存した日が、もとのご宿泊日の何日前かで決まります。

具体例

変更前のご予約

• 宿泊（2名・1泊・2食付き）　お一人 13,000円 × 2名 ＝ 26,000円
• お弁当　1個 1,000円 × 2個 ＝ 2,000円
• 合計 28,000円（ご予約時にお支払い済み）

変更の内容
キャンセル料率が 50% の日の場合に、次のように変更したとします。

• 宿泊　2名 → 1名
• お弁当　2個 → 0個

お支払い済みの 28,000円 はいったん全額返金し、あらためて 20,500円 を決済します。差し引きのご負担は 20,500円 です。
金額は変更画面にその場で表示されますので、保存する前にご確認いただけます。

人数や泊数を増やしたときは？

増えた分のお代金をお支払いいただくだけです。キャンセル料はかかりません。

減らすのと増やすのを同時にしたときは？

同じ項目の中では差し引きします。項目をまたいだ差し引きはしません。
たとえば「お弁当を2個減らして、レンタル品を2つ追加する」場合、お弁当の減った分にはキャンセル料がかかり、レンタル品の追加分はそのままお支払いいただきます。減った分と増えた分を相殺することはありません。
一方、「お弁当を2個減らして、同じお弁当を1個追加する」のように同じ項目の中での増減は、差し引いた1個分だけがキャンセル料の対象です。

宿泊日を変更したときは？

宿泊日を後ろにずらす場合で、それによってキャンセル料率が下がるときは、その差の分だけキャンセル料をいただきます。宿泊日を前にずらす場合はかかりません。

ご予約をまるごとキャンセルするときは？

ご予約の総額にキャンセル料率をかけた金額をいただきます。

お支払いはどうなりますか？

変更を保存すると、変更後の新しい金額とキャンセル料の合計をあらためて決済し、変更前の決済は全額返金します。カード会社によっては、返金がご利用明細に反映されるまで数日〜1か月ほどかかることがあります。

Cancellation Fees for Reservation Changes

When is a cancellation fee charged?

If you make a change that reduces your reservation, a cancellation fee will be charged on the amount that is reduced.

Which items are subject to cancellation fees?

All items included in your reservation are subject to cancellation fees.

• Accommodation charges (plan fees and peak-season surcharges)
• Private room charges
• Packed lunches
• Other options (such as rental items)

However, accommodation tax is not subject to cancellation fees. Any reduced accommodation tax amount will be refunded in full.

How much is the cancellation fee?

The cancellation fee is calculated as:
Reduced amount × Cancellation fee rate
The cancellation fee rate is based on the cancellation policy of each mountain hut, as shown on the reservation page. The applicable rate is determined by how many days before the original check-in date the change is saved.

Example

Original reservation

• Accommodation (2 guests, 1 night, 2 meals): JPY 13,000 per person × 2 = JPY 26,000
• Packed lunch: JPY 1,000 × 2 = JPY 2,000
• Total: JPY 28,000 (already paid at the time of reservation)

Change made
Assume the change is made on a day when the cancellation fee rate is 50%.

• Accommodation: 2 guests → 1 guest
• Packed lunches: 2 → 0

1. Calculate the reduced amount
Before the change, the accommodation charge was JPY 26,000 and the packed lunch charge was JPY 2,000, for a total of JPY 28,000.
After the change, the accommodation charge became JPY 13,000 and the packed lunch charge became JPY 0.
Therefore, the accommodation amount was reduced by JPY 13,000, and the packed lunch amount was reduced by JPY 2,000, making the total reduced amount JPY 15,000.
2. Apply the cancellation fee rate
A cancellation fee rate of 50% is applied to the reduced amount.
For the accommodation, 50% of JPY 13,000 is JPY 6,500.
For the packed lunches, 50% of JPY 2,000 is JPY 1,000.
Therefore, the total cancellation fee is JPY 7,500.
3. Calculate the new total amount charged
After the change, the new reservation amount is JPY 13,000.
Adding the cancellation fee of JPY 7,500 brings the total amount charged to JPY 20,500.
The original payment of JPY 28,000 will be refunded in full, and JPY 20,500 will then be charged again. Your final cost will therefore be JPY 20,500.
The amount will be displayed on the change screen, so please review it before saving your changes.

What happens if I increase the number of guests or nights?

You only need to pay the additional amount. No cancellation fee will be charged.

What happens if I reduce and increase items at the same time?

Increases and reductions are offset only within the same item. They are not offset across different items.
For example, if you reduce packed lunches by 2 and add 2 rental items, a cancellation fee will apply to the reduced packed lunches, while the added rental items will be charged in full. The reduced amount and the added amount will not offset each other.
However, if you reduce 2 packed lunches and then add 1 of the same packed lunch, only the net reduction of 1 packed lunch will be subject to the cancellation fee.

What happens if I change the stay date?

If you move your stay date to a later date, and this causes the applicable cancellation fee rate to become lower, you will be charged only the difference in the cancellation fee rate.
If you move your stay date to an earlier date, no cancellation fee will be charged for the date change itself.

What happens if I cancel the entire reservation?

The cancellation fee will be calculated by applying the applicable cancellation fee rate to the total reservation amount.

How does payment work?

When you save a change, the new reservation amount plus any applicable cancellation fee will be charged again, and the previous payment will be refunded in full.
Depending on the card issuer, it may take anywhere from several days to about one month for the refund to appear on your statement.
